Growing up in Niagara, Alyshia played several sports, including soccer and field hockey, which sparked a love of an athletic lifestyle. She has always been an advocate of being active and living a healthy lifestyle and has been a firm believer in aiming high and putting in the work to reach those goals.
After retiring as a competitive athlete, Alyshia took her passion for field hockey and channelled it into guiding others toward their fitness aspirations.
Driven by her love of achieving fitness milestones, she knew she wanted to help others achieve that feeling of personal accomplishment and success. This drew her to opening Vitasana Health + Fitness, becoming a personal trainer and helping clients set attainable goals in a positive environment.
At Vitasana Health + Fitness, Alyshia is all about finding the right balance between hitting the gym and living life to the fullest. She understands how tough it can be to make fitness a regular part of your routine, and she’s here to help you figure it out.
For Alyshia, it’s not just about getting in a good workout. It’s about making healthy choices in all aspects of life; from what you eat to how you move and think. She’s all about helping her clients stay motivated and committed to reaching their goals, whatever they may be.
With experience as both a competitive athlete and a coach, Alyshia has the unique skill set to train both high-level athletes and everyday enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re aiming for peak performance or looking to improve your overall health and fitness, she’s got you covered.

Chris grew up as a multi sport athlete, with a strong focus in hockey. In addition to this, much of his free time was spent in the back country on trails, and paddling. Later as an adult, he discovered Strength sports. This reinvigorated his appetite for being competitive where he began competing in Weightlifting, and learning about complex strength programming.
In his time in sport, Chris has suffered several injuries of varying severity. Being told he may never be able to fully recover made him determined to learn everything he could, so that he could return to a high level of performance. This led him towards learning about the body, movement, and corrective exercises.
In Chris’s own life, he has a philosophy of being an athlete at any age. With his training, athletic background, and journey through injuries, this has given him a unique insight on how to help others. This led him to becoming a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning coach.
Dysfunction, fragility, and loss of mobility most often arises when we avoid movement. Because of this, Chris believes in the importance of practicing movement, building strength and resiliency to be the best versions of ourselves for both today, and tomorrow. Whether it’s increasing performance, or improving ones quality of life, he has a passion for helping others achieve their goals.

Lisa’s journey into movement didn’t begin in sport. It wasn’t until her early 20s that she began running with the goal of improving her health — and when recurring injuries led her to yoga for recovery, everything changed.
What started as rehabilitation quickly became a passion. Over the past ten years, Lisa has developed a dynamic, movement-focused approach that blends strength, mobility, and body awareness. Her extensive international training in India and Bali, combined with advanced certifications in Functional Range Conditioning and Assessment, allows her to help members build usable strength and improve joint health.
Lisa believes every body is different and coaches with that in mind. Whether you’re new to movement, returning from injury, or working to elevate your performance, she creates an environment that is inclusive, adaptable, and intelligently challenging.
In addition to leading yoga and mobility sessions, Lisa also coaches Vitasana’s Hybrid and Circuit classes, bringing technical cueing and a strong emphasis on movement quality to every workout. Her focus is on helping members move well, train safely, and build confidence in every session.
When she’s not teaching, Lisa is often upside down practicing handstands (a near-daily ritual), exploring recovery and movement practices, or spending time with her dog Pretzel, who she brought home from Bali.
Kelly Hentig
Strength & Conditioning Coach
CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree – Physical Education
Personal Training & Strength Coach – Canfitpro
CPR / First Aid Certified
-
Kelly has been an athlete her entire life. Growing up, she skied and played softball, and today she still loves skiing, ball hockey, and volleyball. Movement has always been part of her story, but weight training didn’t enter the picture until her 50s.
Her fitness journey at Vitasana began during Covid when she met Alyshia while her son was training. Already passionate about teaching Grade 6 during the day and living an active lifestyle, Kelly realized she could combine her love of education and movement by stepping into coaching.
Kelly describes her coaching style as motivational, inspiring, and passionate. She is deeply committed to creating a safe space where everyone can feel successful, especially on the days when showing up feels hard. She believes long-term success in the gym comes from consistency, self-care, and learning to be proud of who you’re becoming along the way.
Kelly is especially skilled at building confidence. She loves helping members discover the joy of becoming the strongest version of themselves, no matter their starting point.
She naturally connects with middle-aged adults navigating their own strength journey, but also loves working with younger athletes — a role she understands well as a proud mom and lifelong educator.
When members leave Kelly’s class, her goal is simple: they feel stronger, more confident, and excited to come back.
Outside the gym, her kids are the centre of her universe. Whether she’s spending time with family, skiing, or teaching her “bonus kids” at school, Kelly brings heart and energy into everything she does.

Hana brings a powerful blend of science, coaching experience, and contagious energy to every class she leads.
As a Certified Exercise Physiologist with over five years of experience in athletic performance and wellness, Hana has worked with individuals at every stage of their journey — from beginners building confidence to high-performance athletes competing at the international level. Hana’s coaching style is approachable, encouraging, and deeply supportive. She believes real progress comes from understanding the whole person — not just the workout in front of them — and creating an environment where members feel seen, capable, and motivated.
At Vitasana, Hana leads Hybrid, Circuit, and Barbell Club sessions. Hana’s focus is on bringing the workouts to life with strong technical cueing, attention to detail, and the kind of energy that makes members want to push just a little harder. She has a natural ability to balance performance-driven coaching with positivity and fun.
